GoQuest Media wins second contract in Nigeria

Continuing its stated aim to bring the best of drama content into Africa, GoQuest Media Ventures has licensed 200 hours of its drama Strange Love to Nigerian pay-TV firm My TV.
GoQuest specialises in licensing TV series and films to territories such as South-East Asia, Middle East, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Its current repertoire comprises Indian television drama series, Bollywood films, Indian and international lifestyle shows, animationmovies and series.
The new deal for the Indian TV content sales agency follows the success of soap Bade Achhe Lagte Hai on My TV's channels. Strange Love will air from the third week of May. The programme has already been licensed to Middle East and Uganda and has already been gaining interest in on social media channels, especially Facebook in the latter country.
Commenting on the deal, GoQuest Media Ventures MD Vivek Lath said: "Television networks in Nigeria have shown increasing confidence in Indian content. We are confident that we will be able to make Indian content a staple for audiences in Nigeria."
