VIDGO updates programming, pricing, devices for OTT service

In a limited release, the VIDGO next-gen over-the-top (OTT) television service will now offer live local US TV, sports, cloud DVR and support for multiple devices in addition to its on-demand bouquet.
VIDGO 19 June 2016The service now works on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, iOS, Android and desktops and does not require annual contracts or professional installation. It allows users to build their own programming packages and have access to full programming line-up either on the go or at home via Wi-Fi or over a 4G connection.
The live linear local channels will be available in selected initial markets in the US while it also supports national content providers and other networks. However, contrary to initial reports, VIDGO is not offering MLB Network.
Other features comprise video-on-demand (VOD), including first-run movie titles; automatic cloud DVR; support for multiple simultaneous devices with each package
