ESPN targets LATAM with Wimbledon

In a region of devoted football fans, ESPN continues its policy of offering multiple sports events by readying its multi-platform broadcast of Wimbledon across Latin America.
espn wimbledonOwning exclusive or shared regional rights for all tennis Grand Slams, ESPN will offer full coverage of the British tournament through ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN+ and the streaming platform ESPN Play.
Starting today (27 June) until 10 July, coinciding with the Euro 2016 final, the pay-TV network will offer up to 15 simultaneous games from the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club. Special programming, including analysis shows and highlights, will be delivered for fans in Argentina, Uruguay, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay, Venezuela, Colombia Ecuador and Peru.
Wimbledon 2016 will see Serbian Novak Djokovic – who has had a record year since he won Wimbledon in 2015, winning all the four Grand Slam competitions - attempt to win his fourth Championships.
