Azam Media extends TV rights for Tanzania Premier League

Azam Media has entered a five year deal worth TZS23 billion with Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) to retain the country’s premier league TV broadcasting rights.
AzamTVThe 16 clubs in the Tanzania mainland’s top flight league will each receive funding worth TZS126 million a year as a result, paid in three installments of TZS42 million.
The deal represents a 26% rise on the former agreement between Azam Media and the TFF, when each football club received TZS100 million from the broadcaster to televise their matches.
