beIN adds AMC Networks channels to MENA bouquet

Pay-TV operator beIN Media is adding AMC, CBS Reality, Extreme Sports Channel, Outdoor Channel and JimJam to its channel offering across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) from 1 August.
AMC networksThe channels from AMC Networks International (AMCNI) include its flagship entertainment channel AMC, which will show original series Fear the Walking Dead seasons 1 and 2 and acclaimed John Le Carre adaptation The Night Manager.
In addition, AMC will be the exclusive MENA home in 2017 to the upcoming anthology drama series The Terror, an adaption of the bestselling novel by Dan Simmons, produced by Scott Free, Emjag Productions and Entertainment 360 in association with AMC Studios.
Localised versions of the documentary and real life drama channel CBS Reality, pre-school children’s channel JimJam, Extreme Sports Channel and Outdoor Channel will also be available to beIN Sports’ subscribers from August 2016 as part of the carriage deal.
