National Geographic, Atresmedia partner to bring DiCaprio’s Before the Flood to Spain

National Geographic Channel (NGC) and Atresmedia have signed a distribution deal for the Spanish premiere of Before the Flood.
before the floodOn 30 October, the climate-change documentary, produced by Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese, will initially air on pay-TV through NGC and Nat Geo Wild and a few hours later will be shown on Atresmedia’s free-to-air (FTA) network MEGA.
Directed by Fisher Stevens (Academy-award winner for The Cove), Before the Flood explores ways in which the world can prevent species’ extinction and climate change before it’s too late. The documentary also shows the visible effects of global warming in Greenland and Indonesia.
Narrated by Leonardo DiCaprio, the documentary also contains interviews with Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, Ban Ki-moon and Pope Francis, as well as NASA researches, scientist and climate activists.
