beIN Sports names biz-dev VP for US

beIN SPORTS has named Roy Meyeringh as VP of business development and affiliate sales for beIN SPORTS USA.
Meyeringh will drive all aspects of North American distribution as well as non-traditional revenue streams. He will also focus on forging strategic partnerships and alliances to continue enhancing the beIN SPORTS brand.
“Through his solid track record in the media industry, Roy has proven his ability to drive distribution and marketing goals to create incredible value for our network and partners alike,” said Antonio Briceño, deputy managing director of beIN SPORTS USA. “His strong negotiating skills and industry relationships will be a great asset as we sustain the growth momentum of our network and create lasting relationships with our partners.”
Meyeringh joined beIN SPORTS USA in August of 2013 serving as senior director of business development and strategy, and holds an undergraduate degree from Rhodes College and a graduate degree from the University of Miami School of Business.
