beIN launches Pit Lane to focus on motor sports Motocross

beIN has announced the launch of Pit Lane, a motorsports highlight in-studio show covering the top three premiere motorcycle road racing championships: MotoGP, FIM WorldSBK and MotoAmerica.

motocrossThe show’s host, Terri Leigh, will also take viewers on a journey through the best of FIA World Rally Championship, FIM World Motocross, TORC Off-Road Racing Championship, Formula 1 and more.

The show complements the motorsports programming shown across beIN SPORTS, beIN SPORTS en Español and beIN SPORTS CONNECT.

The 2016 MotoAmerica Superbike Championship continues this weekend, with round 8 taking place in Monterey, California, at the legendary Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. In this second to last race of the season, defending champion Cameron Beaubier heads the points table in both the Honda Showdown and the Championship with 25 points. Suzuki teammates Roger Hayden and Toni Elias, as well as Yamaha’s Josh Hayes, will look to get some points this weekend and shorten the distance against Beaubier. With four more races to go and 100 points still up for grabs, the fight for the title is far from over.

Taking place on the same racetrack, WorldSBK heads into round 9 for the Geico US Round. Kawasaki Racing Team riders Jonathan Rea and Tom Sykes, currently No 1 and 2 respectively, look to go for race wins and an even greater championship advantage. So far in 2016 Rea has maintained a 100% podium finishing record having posted seven wins, while Sykes moved comfortably into second place after his double-win at Donington Park. Meanwhile, American Nicky Hayden will try to leverage his home advantage in the only WorldSBK race on US soil.
