Eurovision selects Albalá Ingenieros for Olympics coverage

European network Eurovision has chosen Spanish broadcasting technology provider Albalá Ingenieros for the former’s coverage of the Rio Olympics next summer.
albala eurovisionThe agreement includes equipment and infrastructure to broadcast the event’s dedicated TV signal.
Eurovision has selected the TL3000 product-line, including switches and signal distribution systems for video and audio transport stream (TS), as well as automatic switches for HD video on 3G networks.
Albalá Ingenieros was also recently selected by Spain’s RTVE to strengthen IP broadcasting systems for the Brazilian Olympic Games.
“Adding Albalá’s high-technology products to the broadcasting infrastructures of Eurovision means an important agreement that highlights the company’s development within the telecom industry,” stated the Spanish provider.
