Malta wins Junior Eurovision song contest

11-year-old Gaia Cauchi of Malta has won the 2013 Junior Eurovision Song Contest broadcast on Friday 29 November from the National Palace of Arts Ukraine in Kiev.
As part of her prize, Gaia will perform her song at the Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen next year.
Second place went to Ukraine and third to Belarus.
12 contestants, aged from ten to 15, took part in the contest hosted by Ukrainian public broadcaster and EBU Member NTU.
