Fox extends NFL rights for Latin America

Fox Sports Latin America has renewed its partnership with the US National Football League (NFL) for four more seasons.
fox sports nflThe new TV rights agreement includes the airing of more than 100 live regular-season games, NFL Thursday Night Football, the Thanksgiving games, the Pro Bowl and the highly-anticipated Super Bowl. Fox will deliver live access to the NFL programming through its linear sports channels and multi-device platform.
“We are delighted for this new agreement, which will enable Fox to take our programming to a new level and deliver the most complete coverage for American football fans in Latin America,” said Francisco Pazmiño, SVP for acquisitions and strategical programming, Fox Sports Latin America.
Added Michael Markovich, VP for international media & business development, NFL: “The NFL has a solid relationship with Fox Sports around the globe, and we are happy to have increased this partnership in some of our key markets, like Mexico. We’ll work with Fox Sports during next four seasons to create the best audiovisual experience.”
The regular season coverage will kick off 11 September on Fox Sports, Fox Sports 2, Fox Sports 3 and the TV everywhere platform Fox Play.
